Why does refurbished save the planet?

We believe that circular remanufacturing is the solution

Circular remanufacturing is a key way to reduce carbon emissions from production. Through reuse and recycling in the circular economy, we extend the lifespan of objects, use resources more efficiently, and reduce CO₂ emissions.

For example, each refurbished smartphone saves around 25 kg of CO₂ for the planet. Tablets and household appliances offer even more savings!

Progress to save the planet

Relo is actively committed to reducing CO₂ emissions

By the end of 2024, our actions within the framework of the circular economy have produced the following results:

0

tonnes: cumulative reduction of GHGs

0

GWh: cumulative energy savings

0

millions: cumulative used book transactions

*These calculations are based on the collective standard “Assessment of Project-Based Greenhouse Gas Reductions for Second-Hand Platforms” and the methodology of the “Carbon Reduction Report for Second-Hand Goods Transactions”.

With Relo, through circulation, refurbishment and recycling, we can make the world more sustainable.
